My name is Emma, I'm 25 years old and originally from Denmark.
I'm currently looking for my next family to nanny for that I can also feel a part of.
A few activities or things I like to do in my free time include baking, cooking, knitting, trying out new restaurants in the city and riding horses. I love to stay active, I go to the gym regularly, walk everywhere I can and enjoy hiking. Overall, I'm a pretty down to earth kind of girl and prefer to stay in rather than going out. Although, I love to catch up with friends as well and consider myself very social.
I have for as long as I remember (since I was 13) worked with children either full time and live in or as a part time job next to my studies.
My experience include working with children from the age of 2 months-14 years old. Most recently, I worked for a family in Summit, NJ as a live in nanny and learned all the household duties (errands, cleaning, house sitting) as well as taking care of their two beautiful girls.
Additionally, I have worked with special needs children when I was a horse riding instructor and special needs assistant at my former horse riding school. One of the most rewarding jobs I've ever been lucky enough to experience. I'm still in touch with many of the children from back then. Would love to go more into details if needed.
When taking care of children and taking your preference into consideration, I always try to limit screen time. I love to spend as much time as possible outside if the town/city allows us to. On rainy days, I encourage them to read, play a game or play with toys. I have often invented games that allows them to learn depending on what age group they belong to.
I have always been known as extremely hardworking and will go above and beyond what is required of me.
Lastly, I have references that I will be able to reach out to and share with you. I'm a non-smoker and not a huge party girl.
