Hello! My name is Josci, "Jojo". I am years old. I have been babysitting and also a nanny for over ten years.
I have experience with children newborn to 15. I have also taken care of the elderly and disabled children, from vegetative to low functioning autism/ delays . I was a personal assistant for some time as well. I also took care of twin girls for a few years.
Tasks for assisting included running errands, purchasing gifts and making appointments , even hiring and dismissal of other household employees( lawncare, chefs, maids, etc).
Tasks as a sitter included evening games, bath time, dinner and bedtime.
Nanny/Au pair tasks included driving children to and from school or activities and appointments. I would prepare meals, feed the children, and sometimes help with homework. I also would bathe the children and put them to bed. I often did the shopping for groceries, clothing, school and activity necessities. If needed , light housekeeping was also done.
For the elderly , I would make sure medications were taken, appointments were attended, visitors were appropriate, pets were taken care of, meals were prepared and given, as well as bathing and light housekeeping.
While working for your family ,I will have a gentle, yet firm approach. I believe in redirecting and guiding rather than punishment and I don't like to yell! I can cook meals for your family, as well as do light cleaning if needed. ( I don't eat much red meat , and no fish, but I can follow a recipe!). I'm also culturally sensitive as I have worked with several Indian/ Hispanic / European families, as well as multiple beliefs including atheists, Hindu, Muslim , Christian and a few others. I come in to YOUR home and YOUR family and I treat both with equal respect. yes, I have my own home and beliefs and opinions, however , unless we are trying to come to a conclusion on something TOGETHER, I do not try to over rule anything you ask of me or make it about me and "How I do it " . I like when myself and the family are on the same page and are all a unit!
I Like doing outdoors activities(nothing crazy lol, I'm definitely not outdoorsy lol!) , but we can also do things indoors as well. I love making up games and silly songs. I actually went to college to be a Phys. Ed teacher! I can swim well and I like to run. I like most furry pets. No snakes or spiders!
I have a valid driving record here in the United States. I do not have any Visa's. I do have an up to date passport.
I recently had a baby. He is very sweet and very good. He is now 6 months old. I would love to be able to bring him with me !
I will tutor in English for 30min and 60 min lessons if you are interested in tutoring services.

I am very discreet. Anything that happens in your home , stays in your home. That includes personal information, valuables, assets, etc. I do not disclose any of my employers business or my salary to anyone outside of myself.
Also, I speak "ok" Spanish!
