Hi families,
My name is Jordan, and caring for children is something I do with a lot of heart, creativity, and intention. I’m currently in school studying early childhood education, and I come from a family of teachers and educators, so I’ve grown up deeply understanding the power of learning, curiosity, and shared experiences.

Before working in childcare, I spent several years as a chef in Chicago, and food is still one of my greatest passions. I love cooking for families and getting kids involved in the kitchen in age-appropriate ways. I truly believe food is one of the best ways to teach children about the world, other cultures, and connection—whether that’s through simple recipes, talking about where ingredients come from, or just sharing meals together.

I have experience working as both a nanny and an au pair in the U.S. and in Italy, and I bring a warm, creative, and dependable approach to my work. I love painting, singing, dancing, going on nature walks, and doing lots of crafts. I’m very much an outdoors person and believe children learn best when they’re surrounded by nature, free to explore, imagine, and move their bodies.

Imaginative play is especially important to me. I believe children learn most deeply when they’re allowed to be curious, creative, and fully themselves, and I do my best to create an environment that feels safe, nurturing, and fun. Above all, I value connection—building trust with children and families and learning together through everyday moments.
