Hello, my name is Ella and I have been looking at being a nanny or au pair for a few years. I love taking care of and looking after children, as well as travelling and experiencing new places so I think nannying would be a perfect career for me. I am patient and caring with children and want them to grow up in the best possible environment so anything I can do to improve that and assist the parents is my main goal.
I have been to France a few times growing up, as I grew up in Germany so I am familiar with the culture but I would to immerse myself in the culture and live there for a period of time. I am learning French, this would be my fifth year, and Russian.
I love in America, but I hold dual nationality with America and the UK, I have split my years between Germany, England and America so I am well acquainted with a few Western cultures. My growing up has made it easier for me to assimilate into new places so I am ready to start somewhere new.
From the age of sixteen, I have been babysitting multiple children from different families, from the ages 2-13, as well as nannying two young girls, one of which was an infant for a summer. I also was in charge of the nursery in my church for 3 years. The nursery was for children who could not sit in on the service with their parents.
Along with childcare experience, I have worked a handful of cleaning jobs, running Airbnb rental cleaning, residential cleaning, and changing over a a sailing boat weekly for charters.
I was the cook on the sailing boat for the summer season preparing 5 meals a day for as little as 10 to as much as 36 guests, so I also have cooking skills which would be if use if a nannying job required cooking skills.
