Hello Lovely Parents!
I'm Cat and I'm excited to find a live-in caregiving position with a wonderful family. I'm available from October or November 2023 through March or April 2024 if I relocate, if near Asheville I can commit indefinitely.
I've had a ton of experience working with kids, starting way back when I was 15. I traveled as a vacation Nanny with several families, which was a blast. In my twenties, I taught two-year-old's at a daycare center in Austin. The majority of my career, I've been juggling running my ecommerce business with doing private duty hospice and child care. I've also volunteered my time mentoring underserved kids and young moms, as well as kindergarteners. The past couple winters I've volunteered at an Eco Hotel in St. Croix, providing help with guest services, cleaning, gardening, tropical plant propagation and beautification. I strive to leave a place more beautiful.
I just want to let you know that when I'm with your children, I'm fully present. You won't see me watching TV or staring at my phone. I'm genuinely fascinated by Child Development and I love inspiring kids to believe in themselves and explore their talents and gifts. I promise to engage with your kids in the most positive, loving, and fun way possible.
On a personal note, I'm a trained life coach, competitive beach volleyball athlete and artisan. I love animals and have had pets all my life up until 2 years ago. I can juggle and if egged on I can eat an apple while juggling three.
I'm drama-free and super easy to get along with. I am happy to share family time but also completely fine doing my own thing on off hours. I have a really strong work ethic, always striving to do more than is expected. I'm more than happy to help out with housework or gardening. My goal is to take the very best care of your children and make your home life easier so you can spend quality time with your family, not the laundry.
