We are expecting our first child, a baby boy. As first-time parents with very busy professional lives, we are looking for an experienced and caring nanny who can confidently care for our baby and guide us during the first months.

**Experienced Live-In Nanny for Our First Baby Boy – South of France**

We are a warm, dynamic and very busy couple looking for an exceptional live-in nanny to care for our first baby boy in our home near Toulouse, in the South of France.

This is our first child and we have no other children. As first-time parents, we have no previous experience caring for a newborn and still have a great deal to learn. We are therefore looking for a highly experienced, reassuring and proactive nanny who can not only care for our son, but also guide and support us during the first months of parenthood.

We need someone who genuinely loves babies, understands newborn routines and can confidently take initiative while respecting our choices as parents. The ideal person will be gentle, patient and affectionate, but also extremely reliable, organised and attentive.

**Main responsibilities**

* Providing attentive, loving and safe care for our baby boy
* Helping us establish appropriate feeding, sleeping and daily routines
* Preparing and sterilising bottles
* Changing, bathing and dressing the baby
* Settling him for naps and bedtime
* Monitoring his sleep, feeding, comfort and general well-being
* Organising gentle, age-appropriate activities to support his development
* Taking him for walks and accompanying him to appointments when required
* Keeping the nursery, baby equipment, toys and clothes perfectly clean and organised
* Washing, folding and organising the baby’s laundry
* Keeping us informed about his meals, sleep, mood and development
* Anticipating his needs and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available
* Teaching and reassuring us as first-time parents, particularly during the newborn stage
* Providing occasional evening, night or weekend support according to the agreed schedule

The role is entirely focused on our baby. There are no other children to look after, and we are not looking for a general housekeeper. However, the nanny will be responsible for keeping all baby-related spaces, equipment and belongings clean and organised.

**Required profile**

* Significant and verifiable experience with newborns and young babies
* Confidence caring for a first baby and supporting inexperienced parents
* A genuine love of children and a naturally nurturing personality
* Calm, patient, gentle and emotionally stable
* Reliable, discreet, responsible and highly organised
* Excellent knowledge of newborn hygiene and safety
* Able to take initiative and work independently
* Good communication skills
* Verifiable references from previous families
* Paediatric first-aid training would be highly valued
* A driving licence would be a strong advantage
* Non-smoker
* Candidates from France or abroad are welcome, provided that the necessary legal arrangements for working in France are possible
