Dear future nanny,
We are a hardworking Christian family of four who like to hike, travel, go to parks and beaches, and spend quality time together. We seek a kind, proactive and responsible adult to help care for our children and be a part of our family. We like to have fun and do activities together. Screen time is minimal in our family and we hope you can honor that since we want our quality time to be special! We hope that we'll enjoy our time together, learn from each other's cultures and that you also get to experience beautiful San Diego. We are looking forward to having you be a part of the family :)

As a nanny in our family, you will be responsible for driving our daughter to school during the week, meal preparation for the children, feeding the infant, putting the baby down for naps, playtime, and some assistance with learning/teaching time for TK (reading, math, science, etc). Other responsibilities include cleaning up after the children and keeping the house clean including children's areas and common areas. The nanny will be responsible for following the host family's schedule, being on time, and must be an effective communicator. This means communicating the children's daily activities, concerns, etc. The nanny should respect the parents' parenting style and provide a consistent style of interaction with the kids so they do not get confused.

You will be treated with utmost respect as taking care of children is the most difficult job in the world. You have access to our food while you are working and if any issues or concerns up, we are happy to work with you so it ensures smooth interactions for all. We live in sunny San Diego where the weather is beautiful all year round and there is plenty of things to do. We hope you can explore and enjoy the culture here!
