Hello! My name is Angela, I am 24 years old, and I am from the Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, and I have a genuine passion for working with and caring for children. I am a kind, patient, responsible, and hardworking person, and I would love the opportunity to become an au pair and be part of your family.
My experience in education has given me the opportunity to work closely with children and teenagers. During my teaching practice, I taught students from Grades 7 to 10, prepared lessons and activities, assisted them with their learning, and made sure that the classroom was a safe and positive environment. I also have personal childcare experience, including caring for a young child in my family. These experiences taught me how important patience, understanding, and attentiveness are when taking care of children.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I like playing with them, helping them learn new things, reading stories, doing creative activities, assisting with homework, and simply being there to support them. I understand that every child has a different personality and needs, so I am willing to learn and adjust to the way your family cares for your children. Their safety, happiness, and well-being would always be my priority.
Aside from childcare, I am also comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing simple meals, organizing their things, tidying their play area, and helping maintain a clean and comfortable home. I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to share some Filipino dishes and other meals that I know how to prepare.
I want to become an au pair because I see it as more than just an opportunity to work abroad. I would love to experience a new culture, learn about your family’s traditions and way of life, improve my language skills, and build a meaningful relationship with my host family. At the same time, I would be happy to share Filipino culture, traditions, food, and my own experiences with your family.
I hope to find a family who will welcome me as a member of their household and with whom we can have mutual respect, trust, and open communication.
