My name is Lusa, and I am a kind, patient, caring and responsible person from Zambia. I genuinely enjoy caring for children, and I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and caring person in your family’s life.

During my nursing training, I gained hands-on experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for more than three months, where I cared for newborns under professional supervision. This experience gave me valuable exposure to the special attention, patience and responsibility required when caring for babies. I also participated in neonatal resuscitation when required as part of my supervised clinical training. This taught me to remain calm and attentive, especially in situations where a baby needed immediate care.

In addition to my NICU experience, I have cared for children within my family. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy and an understanding of how important it is for children to feel safe, loved and listened to.

I enjoy spending time with children and would be happy to play with them, read stories, take them for walks, help with their routines, prepare simple meals and keep them engaged in age-appropriate activities. I understand that every child is different, so I would take time to learn their personality, interests, routines and individual needs.

My nursing background has also taught me the importance of hygiene, safety, observation and responsibility. I understand that parents need to feel completely comfortable and confident when leaving their children in someone’s care, and I would treat that trust very seriously.

I am respectful of family rules and routines and I am willing to learn and adapt to the way your family does things. I value honest communication and would always keep parents informed about anything important concerning their children.

I am also excited about the opportunity to experience a different culture, learn new things and share my own Zambian culture with a family. I hope to build a relationship based on trust, kindness, respect and good communication.
