Introduction
I am the parent of an individual with a disability a teenager on the spectrum. This will not affect my job. I have 13+ years of volunteer work in the special education department. In the states. I have played a role as a substitute teacher and a teacher‘s aid for grades K through 12 in the states. I have also played the role as a CNA for individuals on the Spectrum I cared for 3 to 5 clients at a time, I have been one on one aids with individuals with disabilities who are incompetent and require mobility equipment. I have played the role as a PTA member and have addressed the Board of Education in my school district. I am also an advocate for disability rights and have done many community service activities in my area.
