Hello! My name is Umer, I am 19 years old and I am from Pakistan. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair and, more importantly, to become a trusted and caring part of a host family’s daily life.

If you are looking for someone who is responsible, honest, hardworking, cheerful, patient and genuinely enjoys being around children, I would be very happy to introduce myself. I believe being an Au Pair is not simply about looking after children. It is about becoming someone the children can trust, someone they can laugh with, learn from, play with and feel comfortable around.

One of my strongest qualities is that I can make children happy very quickly. I naturally enjoy playing, joking, talking and creating fun moments with children. I believe children do not always need expensive toys or complicated activities to have fun. Sometimes a simple game, a funny story, football in the garden, drawing together, or simply giving them attention can turn an ordinary day into a happy one. I am energetic, friendly and playful, but I also understand the importance of patience, safety, discipline and respect.

I am a caring and honest person. When a family trusts me with their children, I take that responsibility seriously. I would always try to make the children feel safe, respected and cared for. I would also respect your family’s rules, routines, privacy, culture and way of life. I am open-minded and excited to learn how your family does things.

I also love animals. I enjoy being around pets and would be happy to spend time with them, play with them, feed them or help with their everyday care when needed. I believe animals are an important part of many families, and I would be happy to treat them with the same kindness and care.

In my free time, I love sports and outdoor activities. Football is one of my favorite sports, and I also enjoy cricket, badminton and snooker. I would love to play football or cricket with the children, teach them some simple games, go outside with them, or simply have fun together. I believe sports are a great way for children to stay active, confident and happy.

I am also a hardworking person. I don’t want to be the kind of Au Pair who only does the minimum that is written in an agreement. If there are reasonable everyday household tasks that I can help with in addition to my Au Pair responsibilities, I would be happy to help. Whether it is keeping the children’s areas tidy, helping with simple household routines, preparing things for the children, helping with shopping or assisting the family when something needs to be done, I like being useful and making life easier for the people I live with. I understand, however, that my main responsibility as an Au Pair is the children and their wellbeing.

I would love to become more than just a person who stays in your home for a period of time. I hope to become someone your children look forward to seeing every morning, someone they can talk to, play with and trust. I want to create memories with them that they will remember with a smile.

I am also very interested in learning about your country, culture, food, traditions and everyday life. At the same time, I would be happy to share Pakistani culture with your family. I can tell you about my country, our traditions, our food, our hospitality and the things that make Pakistan special to me.

I understand that welcoming an Au Pair into your home requires trust from both sides. For me, communication, honesty and respect are extremely important. If something is unclear, I would rather talk about it openly and respectfully than make assumptions. I am willing to listen, learn and adapt to your family’s routine.
