Introduction
Hi, my name is Alwihana, but everyone calls me Hana. I am 22 years old. I currently live in Yogyakarta and originally come from Central Java, Indonesia. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Pembangunan Veteran Yogyakarta University. I speak English well, and I have recently started learning German (A1).
I started teaching elementary school students in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many children found it difficult to study online, so I began tutoring my younger cousins and their friends in small groups. I teach Mathematics, Science, and Indonesian. Although I have never been an Au Pair before,I have a lot of experience taking care of children and babies.
I enjoy spending time with children. I often help organize children's events in my neighborhood, and I joined a National Children's Day volunteer program in 2025 at an orphanage. I also very close to my younger siblings, nephew and nieces. For the past two years, I have helped take care of my two youngest nieces since they were born. This experience has taught me a lot about caring for babies and toddlers.
I consider myself to be caring, patient, organized, sociable, and adaptable to new environments. I truly enjoy spending time with children because their curiosity inspires me to keep learning, whether about knowledge, creativity, or even kindness and good manners. I especially enjoy learning alongside children. They often ask unexpected questions that encourage me to find the answers, helping me gain new knowledge and freshinsights.
I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to become an Au Pair. My hope is to become a part of my host family's daily life, learn from them, play with the children, and help create wonderful memories together. I would also be happy to assist with light household chores. I enjoy cooking and often help my mother with household tasks at home.
