Introduction
My name is Ricka, and I am from the Philippines. I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in English. I am excited about the opportunity to become your au pair, not only to help care for your children but also to experience your culture and become a part of your family.
I have several years of experience working in customer service, where I developed strong communication, patience, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. More importantly, I am a mother of three children, which has given me invaluable hands-on experience in caring for children of different ages. Through parenting, I have learned how to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment while being patient, organized, and attentive to each child’s unique needs.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I love reading stories, helping with homework, playing educational games, doing arts and crafts, and encouraging outdoor activities. I believe children learn best when they feel loved, respected, and supported.
I am responsible, honest, adaptable, and eager to learn. I am also willing to assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing simple meals, organizing their play areas, helping with laundry, and keeping their spaces tidy. I understand that being an au pair is about becoming a trusted member of the family, and I am committed to contributing positively to your home.
Living with your family would be a wonderful opportunity for us to learn from each other. I look forward to sharing my Filipino culture while learning your language, traditions, and way of life. I hope to build a meaningful relationship with your family based on trust, respect, and kindness.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I would be honored to become part of your family and help care for your children. I look forward to getting to know you and answering any questions you may have.
Warm regards,
Ricka
