Dear Future Host Family,

I grew up in a close and caring family where helping one another is a normal part of everyday life. As the eldest child, I learned responsibility from a young age. Whether it was helping younger family members, supporting my grandparents, or taking care of household tasks, I was taught that caring for others is not a duty but a privilege.
One of the reasons I want to become an Au Pair is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with people of different generations. I regularly help care for my younger cousins and siblings. I enjoy playing with children, helping them learn new things, supporting them with homework, and encouraging their curiosity. At the same time, I have a special relationship with my grandparents. When my grandfather developed arthritis, I helped him with daily activities, prepared meals, assisted with mobility, and spent time talking with him. These experiences taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of being present for others.
I am also comfortable with household responsibilities. I enjoy cooking healthy meals, helping with cleaning and organization, and contributing to a positive home environment. I would be happy to share Indian culture and cuisine with your family while learning about German traditions, language, and daily life.
I would like to come to Germany because I admire the country's culture, values, and strong sense of community. For me, being an Au Pair is much more than living abroad.
