(Only 45 minutes by train to Vienna!)
Do you love nature, have a big heart for children and animals, and want to experience authentic farm life in Austria for a year – without missing out on being close to the big city? Then you’re the perfect fit for our family!
We are looking for a cheerful, responsible addition to our pony farm and daily routine starting immediately.
Your Responsibilities with Us
Our two children are 8 and 10 years old. A lot of our daily life revolves around being outdoors, our ponies, and our various farm animals.
* Quality Time & Learning: Accompanying the children in their daily routines, organizing free time activities, and supporting them with learning.
* Order & Structure: Keeping the house and the children's rooms organized together with them.
* Everyday Language: By speaking English with the kids, they will learn your language naturally and playfully along the way!
* Light Tasks Around House & Farm: Helping out with light housework as well as light farm chores and caring for the animals.
* Horses & Animals: Assisting with the daily care and handling of our ponies and farm animals.
What You Bring to the Table
* Horse Experience & Love for Animals: You already have experience handling horses and feel completely at home on a farm.
* Driver's License (Class B): Required, along with safe driving skills.
* Languages: Fluent English.
* Non-smoker: Absolutely essential on the farm and around the kids.
* Joy in taking on responsibility and an engaging, positive attitude!
What We Offer
* Great Location: Idyllic rural farm setting, but Vienna is easily reachable in just 45 minutes by train – perfect for your days off!
* Regular Working Hours: Working 5 days a week – you have the full weekend off to explore Austria or relax.
* Real Family Life: Your own room, full board, and fully integrated into our family and farm life.
* Pocket Money: According to Austrian legal regulations (marginal employment).
* German Course: We cover 100% of the cost for your German language course!
