Introduction
I’m a dedicated loving professional who has taught ages 6 months to teenagers. Passionate about teaching children everyday life beyond the classroom. I believe in anticipation, seeing things before they happen and taking actions to keep the room calm and focused. I have a deep love for traveling and believe children learn from their environment, whether it’s their backyard or a cathedral in Rome. They’re so much to learn from life around us.
I believe in working with the family as a team to help the family function more smoothly, I’m not looking to replace a parent or force my beliefs on them. I’m simple an extension of the parents to help meet their goals and needs in raising there children.
My philosophy of raising children is that it takes a village to raise a child. I am extremely flexible and willing to travel even with a short notice. I’ve traveled extensive domestic and international. I have extensive training in behavior health management.
I’ve raised 3 children of my own and four step children, one with whom has level 3 autism. My patience and steadiness has been built on real life personal experiences, not just in theory. Professional I have taught a wide range of special needs children over the last 19 years.
I have a Master of Education degree in early and middle childhood education and development. I currently hold my Texas Teaching Certificate along with English as a Second Language Certification. I was ESL teacher of the year nominated by the school. I was also recognized as an Exemplary Teacher by the Texas Education Association.
My passion is to teach children in every aspect of life while helping the family become a smooth running unit. My goal is the same wherever the family may be, to create a loving, stable, safe environment where children always feel confident enough to flourish.
