Through this experience I have learned how valuable patience, consistency, attentiveness, and reliability are in helping someone feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their own home.
My professional background also supports the care I provide. I trained as a chef and am a baking arts professional, and I enjoy using these skills to prepare nourishing, home-cooked meals that meet personal preferences and dietary needs. I believe food plays an important role in well-being, comfort, and routine, and I take pride in preparing meals that are both healthy, enjoyable and specifically tailored to dietary needs.
In addition to my caregiving work, I am actively involved in my community. I serve in a volunteer capacity on two boards, where I contribute to community advocacy and treasury responsibilities.
