Before i tell you about myself ,let me answer one important question. Can i find a missing sock ,calm a grumpy child,help with homework,prepare snacks and listen to a ten_minute story about a bug someone found in the garden ?
ABSOLUTELY YES??.
My name is Sheila from beautiful Kenya and i am 21 years old,l speak English and Swahili and i genuinely enjoy being around children. I currently work with young kid learners ,which means my days are filled with laughter,questions,creativity and Occasional moments where i wonder how a tiny human can have so much energy before 8 a.m???.
I love the little things that make childhood magical. The random dance performances in the living room,the dramatic stories,the endless why?questions,the proud smile when a child learns something new. These moments are what make childcare special to me.
If i joined your family,i wouldn't want to be just the aupair who lives in the spare room but i rather would love to become a trusted big sister figure,someone your children can laugh with,learn from and feel comfortable around.
A few things about me;
I laugh easily
I love trying new experiences
I enjoy nature,walks and being outdoors
I can be patient even when asked the same question for the 17th time
I am responsible,but i don't take life too seriously
I firmly believe snacks can solve many problems ????.
I am very excited about the cultural exchange aspect of being an aupair .l would love to share my Kenyan culture with your family while learning about your traditions,language and daily life. I'm looking forward to those ordinary moments that become special meaningful memories,family dinners,school runs,weekend adventures and inside jokes that make no sense to anyone else ????.
