My name is Katrin, I’m 42 years old, and I would love to introduce myself as a warm, reliable, and experienced babysitter with a genuine passion for caring for children.
Originally from Germany, I have been living between Germany and Spain for many years. Since 2011, I’ve been working as a self-employed photographer, offering photo shoots and creative photography workshops in Spain during the spring and autumn seasons. Outside of those periods, I have plenty of free time and often look for meaningful and enriching new challenges – and caring for children is one that has always been close to my heart.
I’ve been looking after children since I was a teenager. In my school holidays, I completed internships in kindergartens and also volunteered in facilities for children with physical and mental disabilities – valuable experiences that taught me empathy, patience, and deep respect for every child’s individual personality and pace. Over the years, I’ve continued to care for the children of friends and regularly looked after my brother’s children, supporting their development and being a trusted presence in their everyday lives.
Today, I bring with me many years of experience with children of all ages – from toddlers to school-aged kids and teens. I’m naturally gentle, empathetic, and patient, and I easily build warm, trusting relationships with children. I communicate clearly and kindly, and I always try to meet each child where they are, emotionally and developmentally.
Parents often describe me as a calm, loving, and thoughtful person. I’m also very flexible, independent, and responsible, with a practical mindset and a positive attitude. Whether it’s helping with daily routines, playing creative games, supporting emotional needs, or stepping in during busy family moments – I bring both heart and structure to my work.
One of my greatest joys is seeing children feel safe, seen, and happy in their own little world. I truly care about their well-being and aim to create a peaceful and positive atmosphere in which they can thrive. I also believe in being a supportive and open partner to you as parents – respectful, reliable, and easy to communicate with.
