Family's Introduction to Nanny
Dear Au Pair,
We are looking forward to meeting you and hope we can welcome you to our home in Sweden!
Charlie our daughter is 9 years old, Sam our son is 6 years old and Eleanor our daughter is 4 years old. All three were born in San Francisco where me and my husband Jon met. My husband Jon is from California originally, and I am from Sweden.
The children are all in school.
We recently built a new home where we have a separate 1 bedroom apartment for a live-in Au Pair that includes a bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen. The home is well situated next to parks and public transportation, and is a short trip of 20 minutes via bus to downtown Stockholm.

Job Description
Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 7-9am for getting kids out for school, some hours middle of the day and unntil 7pm when kids are asleep
Weekends: We need your assistance for a 3-4 hour block on Saturday or Sunday, based on your preference.
Daily Responsibilities:
Cleaning Routine: Before the children come home, please complete the daily cleaning routine, which includes dishes, laundry, decluttering, putting toys away, cleaning sheets, clearing bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping kitchen and bathroom floors, cleaning the microwave, and disposing of expired food.
Groceries: Ensure the fridge has essentials for the afternoon (milk, eggs, fruit etc)
Afternoon Preparations: Prepare snacks for the kids' pickup and snacks when they arrive home.
Post-School Activities: Once the kids are home, assist them with changing out of outdoor clothes, washing up, and engaging in activities or rest as needed. You may need to clean the outdoor clothes as well if they’re covered in dirt, hang them up to dry.
Dinner Time: We usually have dinner as a family, and you are welcome to join us. We may not always be able to, and we’d prioritize having the kids eat first. Otherwise, you can continue with cleaning or organizing tasks.
Evening Routine: Assist with the final clean-up after dinner.
Weekend Responsibilities: On weekends, your primary responsibility will be to take care of all the kids for a 3-4 hour block. This gives us the flexibility to attend events or engage in personal activities.
Ongoing Projects:
When time allows, we would appreciate your help with ongoing projects like organising silverware, deep cleaning parts of the home, maintaining appliances, clearing out the refrigerator, washing and drying couch cushions, organizing the kids' closets, and stocking up on toiletries.
