First, a little about us: we are an Italian-American family with two children (10yo and 8yo). We live in Bologna close to Giardini Margherita, and our children are in school full-time. We also have a 4 yo golden retriever.

What we need: We are looking for someone to help manage all aspects of home life (cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc), including taking out the dog as needed. We are "hands-on" parents and typically take the kids to and from school, but we would like someone who can manage them if needed.

Salary is negotiable and will be in line with the "going rate" for live-in help in Bologna. After a one-month trial period, we will write a contract so that you have the protections of regular employment. You would also have half Saturday and Sunday free per week, as well as paid holidays.

First and foremost, I need an affectionate and energetic person who can keep the house in order and help me with the everyday life of children. Keeping the house in order includes working with me to organize shopping, assist in cooking, laundry and ironing. We are very "hands-on" parents and typically take the kids to school and pick them up from school, but we would like someone who can manage the kids if we would like to go out for the evening, etc.
