Job Description
We are looking for an experienced housekeeper for our three bedroom apartment (two adults, one teenager and a dog)the apartment is situated on one floor within an apartment complex in Central London. We need someone hardworking with a great attention to detail who is flexible with a can do attitude and someone who can work quickly and likes to get the job done as this is a fast paced household. Ideally someone who is confident in the kitchen with a keen interest in preparing and cooking varied and healthy recipes.
You will need to take charge of the day to day household cleaning. Main focus is on the upkeep of the interior of the property with key areas being cooking and general cleaning and tidying. Ideal candidate will work in a calm and effective manner have excellent communication skills and be very supportive to us.
Start: ASAP
Holiday: 21 days holiday plus bank holiday.
Salary: £30k increasing to £33k following a six month probation period.
Hours: 10am to 4pm daily Monday to Friday
Duties include but not limited to:
• cooking (varying day to day, mainly evening
meal)
• laundry
• shopping (online or in in person)
• keeping the house stocked up with supplies
• dusting and polishing of the furniture and
fixtures
• cleaning bathrooms
• maintaining a clean kitchen area at all
times
• unloading and loading dishwasher
• making beds and changing linen
• vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• ironing
• maintaining the property to a high standard
Ideal candidates must:
• Have experience of working with HNW
individuals within a private household
• Enjoy cooking and happy to produce varied
and healthy dishes
• Have general cleaning skills in a private
household and be confident around expensive
art and furniture items.
• Have a knowledge of fabrics
• Experience in Laundry & Ironing
• Have good timekeeping skills and be punctual
and responsible
• Have a can-do attitude at all times and be
friendly and smiley
• Be well presented
• Have good front of house qualities in order
to meet and greet guests
• Have a good level of fitness
