We are seeking a reliable, freelance housekeeper in Gothenburg to provide thoughtful, proactive care for our home, treating it as your own. Unlike agency cleaners who follow rigid checklists, we need someone who uses critical thinking to assess and prioritize tasks each visit, ensuring our home stays clean, organized, and well-maintained with a personal touch.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning, focusing on areas that need attention (e.g., dusting behind furniture, cleaning chair legs, or tackling overlooked spots) rather than repeating redundant tasks (e.g., recleaning spotless surfaces). Adapt weekly based on the home’s condition.
Laundry & Ironing: Wash, dry, iron, and fold clothes as needed, ensuring they are neatly stored.
Wardrobe Organization: Organize clothes in closets and wardrobes intuitively, maintaining tidiness and order.
General Tidying: Keep the home neat, including light organizing of common areas to enhance comfort and functionality.
Initiative: Take ownership of the home’s upkeep, identifying and addressing tasks without needing detailed instructions (e.g., noticing and cleaning a dusty corner or suggesting minor improvements).

A caring, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a home with warmth and attention.
Ability to think critically and adapt cleaning priorities weekly, avoiding the robotic approach of agency services.
