**Job Description: Au Pair with Tutoring Skills and English Proficiency**

**Overview:**
We are a warm and welcoming family seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Au Pair to join our household. The ideal candidate will provide childcare, light household support, and tutoring assistance for our children, with a strong emphasis on English language proficiency to support their academic and language development. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Romania while becoming an integral part of our family.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Childcare:** Provide attentive and nurturing care for two children aged 1 and 3, including engaging them in age-appropriate activities, games, and outings to promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
- **Tutoring:** Support children’s academic progress by providing tutoring with a focus on improving their English language skills through conversation, reading, and writing exercises.
- **English Language Development:** Actively engage children in English-speaking activities to enhance their fluency, vocabulary, and confidence in the language. This may include storytelling, language games, or assisting with English homework.
- **Light Household Duties:** Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing meals, tidying their rooms, and organizing their school materials.
- **Cultural Exchange:** Share your culture, traditions, and experiences with the family while embracing and participating in Romanian’s culture.
- **Daily Routines:** Help with morning and evening routines, bathing, cooking and bedtime preparation.

**Requirements:**
- **English Proficiency:** Native or near-native fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential to support children’s language development.
- **Tutoring Skills:** Experience or ability to provide academic support, particularly in areas, e.g., English, Math, or general study skills. A background in education or tutoring is a plus.
- **Childcare Experience:** Previous experience caring for children, ideally in a nanny, au pair, or teaching role.
- **Age:** 25-39 years old.
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in education, childcare, or related fields are a plus.
- **Soft Skills:** Responsible, patient, creative, and adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Cultural Fit:** Enthusiasm for cultural exchange and willingness to integrate into our family dynamic.
- **Driver’s License:** [Optional: Valid driver’s license and confidence in driving in EU].
- **Legal Requirements:** Eligible to work as an au pair in Romania which is in the schenghen space, including any necessary visa or work permit requirements.

**Schedule and Commitment:**
- **Hours:** Approximately 55hours/week, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
- **Flexibility:** Ability to adapt to the family’s schedule, including occasional travel or special events.
