Job Description

General Hygiene Practices
• Wash hands at the start of the day with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Always wear disposable gloves when cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
• Change gloves after cleaning each bathroom and after handling waste.
• Wash hands immediately after removing gloves.
• Use separate cloths/sponges for the kitchen and bathrooms to avoid cross-contamination.
• Regularly disinfect the cleaning tools and equipment.

Daily Housekeeping and Hygiene Tasks
Bedrooms (x5)
• Wash hands before making beds or handling clean linens.
• Wipe down frequently touched surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches) with a disinfectant.
• Empty wastebaskets and immediately wash hands afterward.
• Make beds and change linens if required
• Tidy up and declutter surfaces
• Dust all furniture and fixtures
• Sweep/vacuum/mop floors
• Empty wastebaskets
Bathrooms (x5)
• Wear gloves when cleaning and disinfecting toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, and countertops.
