Introduction
My name is Kakooza, a 27-year-old Ugandan with a strong passion for helping others and building a better future for myself and the children I care for. I am writing to express my interest in a position as a household assistant or au pair in your home or organization.
I hold a Certificate in Electrical Engineering from UBTEB and graduated in 2018. I also completed my A’Level education in 2015 at Mpigi Mixed Secondary School. In addition to my technical training, I have gained hands-on experience in household management, childcare, and poultry farming, which I believe makes me a well-rounded and reliable candidate for this role.
Over the past several years, I have served my community not only through technical and farm work, but also by founding and running a small NGO called Guardian Souls Uganda. This organization supports 19 vulnerable children with food, shelter, education, and love. Through this mission, I have developed deep skills in caregiving, cooking, cleaning, organizing daily routines, and managing responsibilities under pressure. I have learned to be dependable, disciplined, and compassionate—traits that are essential for anyone caring for a household or children.
I am fluent in English and Luganda, and I also have basic knowledge of Italian, which I continue to practice. My communication skills, cultural respect, and willingness to learn make me an ideal fit for a family or work environment abroad. I am confident in my ability to adapt to new routines and support my host family or employer with honesty, loyalty, and hard work.
My dream is to work abroad to build a better life for myself and to raise funds to continue supporting the orphans and vulnerable children under my care. With the opportunity you provide, I hope not only to serve you diligently but also to uplift many lives back home in Uganda.
