As a housekeeper, I have always been responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of my assigned property and wide range of duties that require both my hard and soft skills.
I ensuring that the home facilities am overseeing are clean and presentable and also i have oversight responsibilities of the children in the family.
Am always ready to communicate with my employer, via phone, email or in person, with strong and humble communication skills that help me relay messages effectively and ensure everyone in the family understands what am saying. Also use my communication skills when writing down anything needed in the home.
It's my responsibility to make decisions about how to best use the family's resources like what types of equipment to purchase for the home Eg. Groceries, detergents, etc with the aim to help the family manage funds for maintenance and repairs when necessary.
Am also flexible to adapt to changing circumstances. I can adjust my schedule or work hours when need be like if there’s a special event in the home that requires additional time. My being flexible helps me meet deadlines and ensure the family has everything they need to be done in order as well as everything to move smoothly for both of us as a team.
Am always familiar with the cleaning schedules of my duties and this helps me plan accordingly and ensure that all that am expected to do is done accordingly as to expectation.
Safety and security are important aspects in any home and they can be especially crucial but I ensure that my assigned area i follow all safety protocols always making sure that the home is safe, i mean adequate security measures in place to protect everyone in the family including me from all dangers. I love team work and going above and beyond my job duties just as required.
