I am one of those people who was always helping all three of my meemaw's (grandmas) clean and cook. They were kind of OCD/thorough, but it's probably what also helped keep things in their houses in really good shape.

Before it became a trend, we used more of the natural methods to clean. Baking soda, Citrus oil, Vinegar and V--a, etc.

Some of my past clients had health issues that made it so I could not use chemical cleaners. MCAS(mast cell activation), COPD, etc. The chemical methods would aggravate the conditions, especially with clients that lived in small places without good ventilation.
