At a very young age, my mother trained me in household chores. My siblings and I couldn’t play until we had all finished our tasks for the day. As the eldest of four siblings, I often took on the role of team leader. Before graduating from elementary school, I was already independent and knew everything about managing a household, including cleaning, doing laundry, and cooking.
I grew up in the countryside, where I was also trained to work on the farm and in poultry. I planted vegetables and took care of pigs and chickens. I even managed my grandparents' business, a chicken layer farm, which included selling trays of eggs. Living close to the beach, I often went fishing or picked seafood and shells during low tide.
I can confidently say that I have a wealth of experience and knowledge about how to make a living. In addition to my home housekeeping experience, I applied these skills while working as a room attendant in the housekeeping department of a hotel in Manila. I also have work experience in various fast-food restaurants (KFC) and convenience stores like 7-Eleven and The Home Depot.
