I am currently in Southern California awaiting to join my husband in Australia for my third and final holiday to your gorgeous country and beautiful city of Melbourne. I will be residing in Brunswick West for those who are familiar with the area. I am very excited to say that we have hired an immigration lawyer who has been preparing our paperwork for my PERMANENT STAY WOOHOO!!! =D So to the interested families, please know if you consider me in joining you, I will be there for as long as you'll have me. Now a bit about myself and my career...

I have been working with children for just about 15 years, professionally for just under a decade. I have been doing behavioural modification with autistic, intellectually challenged and emotionally disturbed children. I do believe in structure and what i dont like calling "discipline" but redirection. I would be a perfect fit for a family that feels their children would benefit from this. Of course my professional work with behavioral mod is strictly done with love, patience and understanding. Even when it's pretty full on, I am still warm caring and fun loving.. I also work well with well behaved children too ahhaa and who doesnt =D What an absolute joy it has been.

As amazing as it has been, I have found being an au pair/nanny just as enjoyable! I love working with a family on a more 1-1 basis. It's easier meeting the day to day demands of one family and making everybody less stressed and happy at the end of the day than it is for four families lol. Its a bit more cohesive with my interaction as well. So I feel it's a right fit for me. I also have experience in respite care with the elderly.

I am quite easy to get along with to say the least. Very clean and quiet during my downtime. At times you wouldn't know I was there for those who love their privacy. I am very honest and forthright. I am not a snoop lol and I mean I dont even go through my own friends medicine cabinets!! Your privacy is YOUR privacy.I am witty and very playful. A lover of the arts and a GREAT love for music in all genres known to the world. I love the outdoors and fresh air. Trying new things, new foods and very adaptable to my surroundings. I am married to a wonderful Englishman. He owns his flat in Melbourne. However, he will not be joining me as a couple hire. Please do not be alarmed that I have a few tattoos. I know there is a time and a place when they need to be covered up and I am very understanding of this, so please do not feel uncomfortable asking me otherwise. I am expecting to arrive late May or early June 2012.
