My name is Lara, I’m 25 years old and I come from Slovenia. I graduated from a pedagogical high school, where I gained a lot of practical experience working in kindergartens. In 2023, I completed my degree in Early Childhood Education, which provided me with a strong theoretical foundation in teaching, child development, and psychology. My diploma thesis focused on teaching foreign languages in kindergartens.

My goal is to move abroad continue building my career in early childhood education and maybe even PA. I’ve found that I connect best with children in one-on-one settings rather than in large groups. It gives me the chance to truly focus on their unique needs and growth, and the connection we build is often much stronger."

I have extensive experience working with children aged 11 months to 7 years in a variety of multilingual environments, including:

Working as an au pair for a German family while sailing through Greece (children aged 2 and 4)

English-speaking assistant in a Montessori kindergarten in Ljubljana

Babysitting for a Slovenian-Portuguese family

Volunteering as a teacher for children in Africa for one month

I speak English fluently and have an intermediate level of German. I’m a creative and active person – I love crafting, DIY projects, baking, and cooking. I’m also very sporty, and I see physical activity as a key element of a child’s healthy development.
