Dear family, My name is Shané,
I come from a family of 5, my mom is a stay at home mom as she was taking care of us and teaching us, and my dad is a senior solutions architect, I am the eldest of 3 girls and we are currently living with my grandfather to care for him in his old-age.

I currently live in Potchefstroom with my fiancé and am working as a self defence instructor and guesthouse manager. I volunteered at a children's home in Windsor east in Johannesburg and I also volunteered at SARDA (South African Riding for the Disabled Association) and absolutely fell in love with the innocence and joy the children got from horse riding and the visits. I would like to share that joy and help create good memories with kids as much as possible. As the eldest I helped a lot when it came to raising my two younger sisters, I learned a lot of patience and had to take on a lot of responsibility when my mom was travelling back and forth to care for my grandmother who fell ill. I took over a lot of household duties, and I always find a way to get through stressful and irritable situations without causing more upset. I am hardworking and a great peoples person. I enjoy sports such as judo, and horse riding and hiking. I love music, I have been playing piano and violin for 14 years, I was part of the scouting movement and achieved my springbok award, and I love any outdoors activities as well as arts and crafts. When I have the time, I do a lot of creative writing and reading.
