Introduction
For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of being there and watching my nephews grow. Five years may seem like a simple amount of time, but to me, it holds countless memories, little moments, laughter, and experiences that I will always treasure.
I’ve watched them change, learn, discover new things, and slowly become who they are today. I’ve been there not only to look after them, but to comfort them, guide them, share moments with them, and care for them in my own little way.
Sometimes, I wish time would slow down. It feels like only yesterday when they were younger, and now I’m realizing how quickly everything has changed. Growing alongside them has been something I never expected to mean so much to me.
They may grow older, become more independent, and eventually have lives of their own, but I hope they always remember that there was someone who genuinely cared, who was there through the years, and who will always be happy to see them become the people they are meant to be.
I may not have been there for every single moment of their lives, but for these five years, I was lucky enough to witness a beautiful part of their journey.
And honestly, watching them grow has been one of the quietest, most meaningful blessings in my life. 🤍
