I come from a big family of nine siblings, so I grew up surrounded by children and learned from a young age how important it is to be patient, caring, and responsible.
I have six nieces and nephews who are especially close to me. Because many of my siblings are busy with work, I am often the one they trust to take care of their children. I have been looking after some of them since they were babies. I would carry them when they were little, take them to and pick them up from school, spend time playing with them, and help with their everyday needs. They have grown up being very comfortable around me, and I am happy to see that they have become respectful and kind children. I have a very special bond with them, and I love them very much.
This experience is one of the reasons I want to become an Au Pair & Nanny. I would love to care for children in another family, learn about their culture and way of life, and share my own Filipino culture with them. I also want to improve my language skills and become more independent while having the opportunity to experience life in another country.
I believe you should host me because I am someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of children. I am patient, dependable, and willing to learn. I understand that every child has a different personality and needs, so I am willing to listen, adjust, and learn what works best for your family. Aside from childcare, I also love cooking. Cooking is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would be happy to prepare meals and share some Filipino dishes with my host family. I also really value cleanliness and organization. I naturally like keeping my surroundings neat and clean, and I am usually the one who initiates cleaning at home. I enjoy having a tidy and comfortable environment, so helping with reasonable household tasks would be something I would be happy to do.
I believe my experience caring for my nieces and nephews, my love for children, and my responsible and caring personality make me a good candidate for an Au Pair & Nanny position.
