Introduction
Dear family,
I used to be a live-in au-pair for 9 months back in 2005 and that often required babysitting.
I looked after 2 children age 2 and 6 and we often played games, draw pictures, made little presents for their parents, played outside, went for walks or playgrounds etc.
After I left the family, I was a live-out nanny and a babysitter for a family/friends with 2 year old boy with whom I stayed for about 7 years on top of my full time job in care. We often visited playgrounds, played all sort of sports together with his friends, did homework, played games, went to his friends' parties, I was a part of his family and they trusted me with I was in charge of their son.
In recent years I've been occasionally babysitting 2 girls age 9 and 12 and we do quite a lot house chores together like cooking, cleaning, looking after their plants and pets, play games outside, talk and sing and laugh a lot.
I also have a nephew age 2 and I've been helping my sister with his care since he was born and a niece age 4 months. It's unpaid babysitting, but it counts the most. I have a big imagination and a lot of patience and can keep children busy and entertain while their parents enjoy a night out.
