Greetings, I would like to outline my background as well as interests as a nanny in this cover letter. I have 3 years of experience with children aged 9mos to 9yrs. My first year as a nanny, I worked with a family with 4 children aged 9mos, twins at 3yrs, and a 5 year old. My second year I had a 9 month old and a 2 year old, and during this last year, I watched 12 families children, equaling 23 children, which I cared for on a per-need basis. Indeed, I have found a special niche in which my heart hums in rhythm with the children with whom I work. I am a very outdoor-oriented individual, spending most of my non-work time in the mountains hiking, running, or skiing. This goes for the time I spend working as well. It is wonderful, engaging, and eye-opening to spend time in the out-of-doors with children. With my children, we always gravitate towards walks/hikes, the playground, outdoor pools, library, and any picnic areas or fun-looking adventures in-between. I am a very creative, intuitive individual, and am, if necessary, constantly changing the venue where we spend time, as well as the activities/arts/crafts/reading/learning etc. that we participate in. I have travelled the world, due to a passion in climbing, speak French and Spanish fluently, and dream of combining these skills in a nannying/family setting. This being said, I am only interested in "the-right-fit" for myself as well as the family with whom I am involved. Last but not-at-all-least, I am fun-loving, adventurous, and in touch with my "inner-kid" which allows me to have heart-warming, fun and extraordinary experiences daily with the children and families with whom I work. This being said, I am very responsible, mindful, respectful, caring, and willing to keep these ways of walking through life as top priorities while working, sharing, and caring for the children with whom I work.
