Hello, my name is Rabison, and I’m from Ndola, Copperbelt Province in Zambia.

I’m 22 years old and I’m excited about the chance to become part of your family as an au pair. I’ve always loved being around children. Growing up, I helped take care of my younger cousins, nephews, and neighbors’ kids. Over the last 5 years I’ve looked after children from babies up to 10 years old - feeding, bathing, helping with homework, playing games, and just being a big brother figure they can trust.

Why I want to be an au pair:
For me, being an au pair is more than a job. It’s a chance to learn about your culture, share mine, and grow as a person. I’m curious, open-minded, and I enjoy making new friends. I also want to improve my language skills and see a new part of the world while doing something I genuinely care about - caring for kids.

What I can offer your family:
1. Childcare & play: I’m patient, energetic, and creative. I love outdoor games, football, drawing, reading stories, and helping with schoolwork, especially math and science.
2. Responsible & reliable: I’m first-aid trained, I have a valid driver’s license, and I’m comfortable driving kids to school, activities, or errands if needed.
3. Help around the house: I’m happy to help with light housekeeping related to the children - tidying play areas, laundry, meal prep, and washing dishes. I’m tidy and respectful of your home.
4. Active & sporty: I enjoy sports, swimming, and hiking. If your children like being active, I’ll be the big brother who joins in and encourages them.
5. Calm in busy moments: I stay calm when things get hectic, and I’m good at problem-solving with kids.

A bit about me:
I’m non-smoking, Christian, and I eat almost everything. I’m friendly, respectful, and I listen well. Family and community are very important where I’m from, so I understand what it means to be part of a household and contribute. In my free time I like music, watching football, and learning new things online.

What I hope from the experience:
I hope to become like an older brother to your children. I want us to laugh together, learn together, and create good memories. I also look forward to following your family rules, helping with daily routines, and supporting you as parents.
