I would make a great babysitter because I truly love and enjoy taking care of children, children are my true passion and it has been for many years! Now I know I was born with a special hand and heart to want the absolutely the best for children. When my sister was born I was a little over four years old and all I wanted to do with my time was to be with her, to take care of her and my mom let me do it because she saw how much I loved caring for her, how happy that made me every day, I’m still recall that wonderful feeling! My mom used to tell me how much I loved being with her and showed her my affection always.
When I was twelve years old I was already babysitting my neighbors’s babies and feeling extremely content!! Their parents liked to tell me: Great job Helen you really love babies! (And they were right!) 😊
When I was fourteen years old I became camping supervisor for four years and while I was going to my school of tourism at the age of eighteen I was the teacher of a cute group of children ages 2 to 6 years of age that was from 1984 to 1990 and when the school year ended I moved to the USA and I continued working with children as a recreation aide and a dance instructor at the YMCA in Chicago from 1990 to 1993 and when I moved to California I was able to continue doing the same from 1993 to 1995, those years were fantastic because I enjoyed the children incredibly and we even had our own recitals!!
In 1995 I moved to Mississippi and worked as an assistant teacher in Spanish and in the Spring of 1996 I went through an extensive training to become a Summer Camp Director in the year 1996, that was at the Lee Park in Columbus,MS. The following years I taught Spanish in four different schools in Columbus and English as a ELL teacher to international children until the year 2011. I took three years break and in 2014 I cared for a 2 year old girl for ten months teaching her a lot of basic things! I know when she started pre-school she had a great start!! 😊
In February of 2015 I worked as a nanny of an awesome family until the end of May of 2019. The following month I moved back to Spain( Where I’m originally from) to spend some time with my family and here I am hoping to be part of your family to care for your precious babies and children if you want to give me this wonderful opportunity you will be very happy with my work, always!
