Although I am young, I make up for it with my experience. As your nanny, I would be an organized, responsible, creative and most of all fun, addition to your child or children's life. Growing up the oldest of four I was able to see first hand the different stages of my siblings growth and development. To further my knowledge I began babysitting, working in a day care as well as a summer camp. The day care and summer camp provided me with many ideas for indoor and outdoor activities to keep children learning and having fun; and babysitting provided me with experience working with a wide age group of children and prolonged my love for what I was doing.
With my desire to grow as a childcare professional I found a position in Paris where I was responsible for children ranging in ages newborn to thirteen. I spent time going to parks, doing arts and crafts, assisting with homework and nursery duties. Aside from that I also had the opportunity to work as a weekend English teacher for kids four to six where we used pictures, flash cards, colored toys and books to help teach them. With this experience I was then offered a position as a sole/shared charge caregiver for a four-year old boy in the south of France. I spent much of my time entertaining and cooking for the boy and his friends, as well as driving him to school and his extra curricular activities and doing some light housekeeping. His father lived in London, England so I also spent many weekends traveling with him to visit, as well as taking vacations with the family throughout Europe.
I am an innovator, an explorer and a learner. I feel that each child is different and activities and learning should be accommodated according to their needs. I am someone you can feel comfortable with caring for your children and they will feel nothing but love and compassion with me as their caregiver.
