My name is Shellah, a Ugandan national currently working in Saudi Arabia as a nanny and housemaid. I am planning for my next opportunity where I will be available for employment from June 2026, after completing my current contract.
Caring for children has been a central part of my life, both personally and professionally. I am a mother and the firstborn of four children, which placed responsibility in my hands from an early age. This experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing children with a safe, loving, and well-structured environment.
Before working abroad, I spent four years in Uganda as a home tutor, assisting children from different families and backgrounds, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12. This role strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning needs and personalities.
In my professional roles, I have provided full childcare and babysitting support, maintained children’s daily routines, assisted with learning activities, and ensured their safety, cleanliness, and emotional well-being. I am also experienced in household management, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizing, helping to maintain a calm and orderly home.
I hold a Diploma in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship, which has enhanced my organizational skills, reliability, and ability to work independently while respecting household instructions and routines.
