Dear future host family,
First of all I would like to thank you that you take the time to read my Letter. With this letter I will try as best as possible to descrive my Life here, my dreams, my family and of course my experience.
My name is Janice Robles, I'm a Filipina 23 yrs old. I currently living in Manila. I finished study as Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in University of Divine Word College and I have just graduated last year, yet I still pursuing my license as an Certified Public Accountant. I also joined organization in and out of the school that helped to develop my leadership and self-confidence. I have been practicing my craft in Accounting firm for almost 4 months.
I have a big family consists of 7 members. I have 5 siblings, our eldest is a nun, my second sister is a teacher and now currently working in Norway, next to me, second year student in Midwifery and a grade 9 student is my youngest brother. I have a very supportive parent that always there to guide me in my decision in life. I am a person who is artistic, humble, flexible, good listener and friendly.
Good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of Italian, Spanish and Korean.
I really enjoy learning other languages. I am a friendly person and I easily get along with others. I have very long patience especially when it comes to work. I love adventures, studying other cultures of different countries and learning their languages at the same time, because I really like exploring and learning new things in life. I really love cooking, reading books, listening music, writing and painting, and playing badminton, volley ball and Chess and spending time with the children.
As an accountant it trained me well to have a long patience when it comes to work and it help me to apply for other responsibilities. In addition, during pandemic I became a teacher to my two youngest siblings. Checking their homework and guiding them on their school activities.
I also experience to take care and babysit of my niece.
It was a good experience for me that somehow I can help them. I am passionate in taking care of children.
As an au pair, this is an opportunity for me to also
share what I have learned about my experiences in
life. This will be the most challenging adventures that I will do because I will experience how to live with other family with a very different cultures, languages, and beliefs in life. However, I'm very excited to take and embrace this New experience and New chapter of Growing in life.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to get to know me better. I am looking forward to being an Au pair and also a family member in your family and to spend a great and unforgettable year.
