My name is Meili, and I’m a Ugandan currently living in Kenya. I have always loved caring for children and have been involved with them from a young age. I began serving as a children’s usher and caretaker at around 10 years old, looking after children aged 2 to 5 years during church activities.
Although I don’t have formal paid experience, I gained hands-on childcare experience while taking care of my two younger siblings and three cousins for two years during my undergraduate studies, when our parents were away. I was fully responsible for their daily routines, safety, and wellbeing — and we did very well together!
