Dear host family,
I would like to introduce myself to you and let you know a little about me so that you will understand why I would be a good choice to be working on your farm as well as living with you and family. My name is Natani. I am 25 years old and I live in Jamaica with my mother Janet Sutherland, she is 52 years old and my father Carlton Wright, he is 65 years old this year. We planned on having a big celebration for him as a surprise. I am open-minded, hardworking, easy going, dedicated and a responsible person. I am very flexible and for me, safety, health and happiness of children are most important. I often spend time babysitting for friends of my parents who have young children and when they need me, I go to their house sometimes on the weekends to play with their children and look after them while the parents are busy. The name of the children are kearra who is a very sweet three year old little girl and Chad, a three year old boy. I enjoy spending time with them and will often take both to a nearby park during the summer. I enjoy learning new ideas in my spare time as well as going to the cinema, eating in a nice restaurant, reading and surfing the internet. Although I am not really sporty, I do enjoy playing netball and other sports. I do like to cook, running errands and do house chores. My greatest strengths are: I’m patient, brave, tolerable and I’m willing to work with persons that are not at the same pace as others. I hope you may give me the opportunity to cook a Swedish type of meal for you and your family while I am with you.
