Dear wonderful and warm host family
My name is Siti, an 18-year-old girl from Indonesia. I’m writing this letter with a heart full of excitement and hope! I plan to start my au pair journey in July 2026, when I’ll be 19 years old and I’d be truly honored to become part of your family.
As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve been caring for my younger brothers and sisters since they were babies feeding, bathing, helping with homework, and holding their hands through nighttime fears. I’ve always done it with love, patience, and lots of laughter.
To me, children aren’t just “little humans” they’re curious explorers, creative dreamers, and full of brilliant ideas. My role isn’t to shape them into someone else’s idea of “perfect,” but to walk beside them as they discover who they truly are.
? Things I love doing with kids
- Reading fairy tales or making up silly stories together
- Building blanket forts that turn into castles or spaceships
- Playing football, dancing to music, or going on backyard adventures
- Cooking simple meals (my banana pancakes are a hit! ?)
- Coloring, crafting, LEGO, puzzles, or pretending to run a little shop
- And most importantly: listening. I always ask,“What do you want to play today, sweetie?” because every child deserves to be heard and valued.
I also have experience caring for elderly family members helping with meals, medicine, and morning walks so I’m used to being responsible, gentle, and attentive.
At home, I keep things tidy and organized.I can ride a motorcycle and enjoy cycling or using public transport. And when I’m not with kids, I stay active: I play badminton, practice yoga, go for morning walks, and work out at the gym because I believe a happy, healthy au pair makes the best companion for your children!
About me:
I’m cheerful, energetic, and always bring positive vibes. My siblings say I’m the one who turns a rainy day into a dance party! I’m hardworking, independent, and eager to learn especially English and German, because I genuinely want to understand your culture and connect with your family in a real, meaningful way. In return, I’d love to share mine through Indonesian songs, traditional games, or teaching your kids how to say “Aku cinta kamu” (“I love you” in Indonesian ?).
I may be young and not have official certificates yet but I bring something just as valuable a big heart, real-life experience, and a true desire to care for your children like they’re my own siblings.
