Introduction
My name is Fernanda, I am a 25 years old law student brazilian girl who is seeking for a nanny job in MANHATTAN -NY or BOSTON -MA. I worked as an au pair in MA before where I took care of a 2 years old amazing and very cute boy - owen - he is now 7 years old. After my au pair year I got back to Brazil where I've been studying law ( last year of school right now) and working as a Judge's Assistent and Judicial Conciliator at the Tribunal of Justice of Sao Paulo State. I have also worked as a president of an election session last year during the brazilian election day.
About my experience with childcare:
My first experience was working at a Catholic day care center here in Brazil where I was a careergiver. There I learned how to change diapers, bath, feed kids,etc. We used to spend our time reading, drawing, crafting or even singing and dancing.
My second job was in Boston - MA as an au pair where Owen and I spent most of time together since he wasn't going to school yet. So what we used like to do in our free time (after our study time - we had schedulle and based in it owen had to study alphabetic, numbers and read books every day in the morning) was going to museums (children museum and others), playdates (I fixed a day of week just for playdate with neighbours or even children from the music class), going to playground and music classes at the public library.
I always prepared owen's lunch and snack, take him for a nap (for about 2 hours) without any problem, well, just in the lunch time when he didn´t want to eat. :)
After my au pair year I got back to Brazil to finish my law school, but still keep spending time with children. I spend most of my free time with my 4 years old niece - sophia- in the weekend. I taughted her the alphabet, number, math (for her age, of course). Sophia goes to a pre school and is now the first student from her class.
OBSERVATION:
I am able for a long time work.
I have first aid trainee and know how to swim.
I DO NOT drive.
I AM NOT OPEN TO WORK AS AN ILLEGAL FOREIGNER IN THE COUTRY.
