My name is kiarra,I will be turning 18 years old in October. The reason I'm interested in this position is because as someone who had busy parents growing up, I understand that having a person you trust to take care of your children in your absence is important and I would like to be that person for a family. I have 2 youngers siblings, a beautiful little sister (12) and an energetic younger brother (13). Ever since they were babies I've always been right by their side, playing mother when our mom was at work or just being the older sister they needed. I love spending time with them, whether it's reading a book to them, watching a movie with them, going to the beach with them or cooking for them. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I enjoy baking the occasional pastry aswell. As children they need a gentle hand and patience, someone to be just as excited as they are when they see a pretty bird or a butterfly, and also someone to teach them to have a kind heart and be respectful. As an older sister these are values which I have been instilling in my younger siblings since they were old enough to talk, and now that they are pre-teens they are developing a sense of self and identity. That can be a tricky time in our lives as that is when we go through hormonal changes and are usually a bit more rebellious, however I will be here for them when they need me. I will happily be the older sister your child or children need, whilst also accepting the responsibility of making sure they are well fed, entertained and engaged.
