I have worked for the last 10 years as a social worker for CPS (Child Protective Services) which is a high stress job and I am ready for a change but LOVE working with children so shifting my focus to provide my services in other ways. I have experience working with all child age groups as a child welfare social worker but have more of a specialty w/ older children as those are children that we would have more in depth interaction with in my field so basically 3 and up (speaking age & older). In addition to my job in child welfare, I have volunteered with numerous community organizations over the years in areas of sports, arts, etc. I am very into all things active (yoga, bike riding, swimming (I was a competitive swimmer from age 5-15!), boating, SUP, gym, you name it so I have always enjoyed doing these things w/ my kids/grands/clients! Look forward to meeting some great families and kids in the future & providing excellent care!
