Overview
We are looking for a nanny to help take care of our children aged 3 years, 5 years, 7 years. Nanny would live with us in attractive conditions close to Zurich, Switzerland. All major costs are covered, and a negotiable salary is included. We are looking for a commitment of at least 12 months, starting asap.

Our Family
We are a Swedish couple living in Switzerland since 2011 (13 years now!). We are social and active and we love
- Enjoying Zurich: going out in lively areas of Zurich, swimming in and picnicking by the lake, hanging out with friends.
- Enjoying Switzerland: going to the mountains for hiking, skiing, shoe-shoeing, sledging, biking depending on the season.
We have three children: Erica, Oscar, Carl (7, 5, 3 years old). They are in good health, and are active and fun. They go to school/ kindergarden / daycare and spend their afternoons/evenings with the nanny, and do activities with us parents on the weekend.
We live outside of Zurich (in Pfäffikon), about 10 mins by foot to the lake. We have two adjacent apartments with 6 bedrooms in total, four balconies with modern amenities. Our nanny lives in her own room with own en-suite bathroom and a separate entrance incl. separate kitchen.
Zurich itself is a beautiful city that offers a lot with an amazing quality of life. It is located around a large lake surrounded by small hills and a view onto the further distant snow-capped mountains of the Alps.
Ideal Profile
The ideal person for this role is
* Autonomous, responsible, mature enough to take care of three small children.
* Flexible and with a sense of humor, and easy to live with in a group.
* German (native = ideal) speaking, but English is also OK, the kids speak both languages
* Loves taking care of kids
* Likes cooking
* Interested in a life experience that is active and international -- capable of inserting themselves into an existing life of an active and international family.
* Has experience taking care of kids preferable but not required.
* Is available for at least 12 months, and preferably 24+ months, starting Feb 2024.

Responsibilities
* Help the family take care of Erica, Oscar, and Carl and help them grow physically, mentally and emotionally. This includes, for example, going outside on walks, playing with them, putting them to sleep, cooking food for them, eating with them, bathing them, and all other tasks related to taking care of the daily needs to kids. This is mostly for the following times:
* Complement the days where the kids are at daycare depending on the needs: dropping them off, picking them up, starting dinner
* Taking care of the kids on the days they are sick and cannot go to daycare.
* Help in the daily functioning of the household: help prepare meals, grocery shopping, start and fold laundry, cleaning, different errands.
* Help take care of our small dog, Smilla
