We are two happy Scandinavians from an international family looking for an extra happy team-member. The youngest of us is 2,5 years.
We roam and rule the ancient historic streets of Tarragona from a beautiful big new flat in the picturesque and exclusive central part. It is quiet, old and cultural. Beaches are 8 min walk. Center is 1 min. walk. Barcelona is 30-50 min. away
We love bumblebees, bananas and balls.

Ukraine
Any refugee from Ukraine will be extra welcome to have their home with us:-)
In this case we could also host you with a child and we might also be able to host your family pet.
(Potentially we can provide a home for a long time if things work out fine between all of us.)
To everyone else, please understand that I will prioritize refugees over other au-pairs

About us:
We just signed up so more text and photos are coming soon.
The wonderboy is potty trained – no diapers. And goes to bed himself at night.
He loves the alphabet and counting, drawing and playing with balls and ballons.(So you need to be familiar with the alphabet and counting until 20:-)) )
We are looking for something long term so if we have a really good match we can arrange further.

Accomodation
You will have you own modern new room. In a modern luxury apartment . It is a safe neighbourhood. beach in walking distance.

The location
Tarragona have lots of beaches and good hiking opportunities. It is not a party- town.
The old part of Tarragona have history around every corner with plenty cafes to meet up with friends. Plenty of sports activities This is the Catalan part of Spain with many local traditions which are open for you to participate in.

The town is very well connected. Train and bus station is within walking distance. Madrid is 3 hours by AVE -train. Barcelona by train is 30-50 min.

Other things to know:
We are conscious about eating healthy and eat gluten-free. Vegans are very welcome . We would love to embrace that eating style more.
NB!
Raising a 2 year old is hard! So unless you have to be prepared for a 2 year old, this is not for you. We are NOT looking for someone to just play and entertain our son here and there, you are raising him as well, as a family member. With that comes responsibility.
Hence we also prefers older and experienced au-pairs or simply a chica.

Here are some special things you could potentially get from living with us:
- Practice your English. I speak excellent English.
- Learning and experiencing how to raise a gifted child the Scandinavian way.
- I am a psychologist so I have put a lot of thougths in to how to talk to him and love him
-and all the things we do in our daily lives. I am sure you can pick-up some good tricks.
- If you become part of our family and contribute to our little paradise grow, I would be happy to coach and help you along with your dreams and growth as well.

A typical day would be:
a) To prepare fruits for his breakfast and eat breakfast with him, bring him to kindergarden.
b) Pick him up from kindergarten around 16:00
c) Light housework and sometimes some shopping
d) Prepare him for bed at night.
From 9:00 to 16:00 you have free-time everyday

The main job is to take care of the wonderboy in the morning and bring him to kinder garden. Then you will have the whole day off until late afternooon. At night you put him to bed and take of care of him if he wakes up at night.

There is possibility for payed extra work to quite a large extend.You are considered one of the 2 adults in the house and expected to do you equal part of the household.
We would like to arrange the tasks precisely beforehand to avoid misunderstandings.
We can arrange and adjust tasks and week plan quite flexible before the beginning.

If you like to travel, there will be the possibity to travel with us to Scandinavia and Asia. But it is not a demand.
