Dear future Aupair,
We are seeking a dependable and caring au pair to help us with our daily routine. Our children are growing quickly and always eager to explore new things. During the summer months, our kids will not be attending kindergarten and we will be spending our time at the seaside, so the au pair will be needed more frequently. However, starting in September, our children will begin attending kindergarten and we will only require assistance between 15:30 and 19:00 on weekdays, as well as one full day on the weekend.

We typically wake up around 8am, and while Deni primarily stays at home, Jani leaves for work sometime between 8-10am and returns by 6pm

Your main focus will be on our kids, making sure that they are safe, happy, and well taken care of. We have cleaning and cooking services, but when needed, cooking will likely be equally split between both of us and you. Weekly grocery shopping is done by our housemaid, but occasionally, you will have to do it as well. You might also need to put clothes in the laundry machine sometimes. However, the cleaning crew takes care of the rest of the process, including ironing and folding, so you don't have to worry about that.

You can expect to be busy for no more than 40 hours per week, primarily taking care of our children. Once September comes, you will have more free time during the week as both children will attend kindergarten until 15:30. However, we will still need your help on Saturdays. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time with our family, so we are open to discussing and adjusting the tasks as necessary.

We can't really know the exact schedule for Saturdays, but assuming your duties should start not before 9:30 am. In the evenings you will be free most of the time.

We will provide you with a private room with a bathroom and food as well as pocket money. Also, you will be given all the necessary insurance and we will be happy to support you with Croatian/Slovenian lessons if desired.

We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a new au pair in summer 2024 to join our family!
Our first au pair, who hails from Spain, has been with us since the summer of 2022 to summer 2023. Our second au pair, also from Spain, and will be leaving at the end of June 2024. Thanks to them, our kids are already proficient in Spanish!

As a family, we are very active and love to travel, with two toddlers aged 3 1/2 years and 2 years old. Our backgrounds are Slovenian and Bulgarian, and we communicate in English at home. We have explored many parts of the world, so the next au pair will have the opportunity to experience a multicultural environment.

Both of us work in the IT/startup industry and are frequently remote. We are fortunate to reside in the most beautiful area in Europe, which we describe as Switzerland by the seaside. Our time is typically spent between Pula in Croatia and Ljubljana or Bled in Slovenia.

Our primary aim in hosting an au pair is to expose our kids to different languages and cultures. We require assistance with babysitting and some household duties, for up to 40 hours per week. Our ideal candidate is a native Spanish speaker who is a student and adores spending time with toddlers, as well as traveling.

We are a warm and welcoming family who loves to have fun and stay active. Our daughter will be 3 years and 6 months old, and our son will be 2 year and 2 months old when our new au pair arrives in July. In September, they will begin attending kindergarten.

We are fortunate to have a comfortable lifestyle, and we want our au pair to enjoy it as well. We have three homes that we frequent - a large lake house in Bled, a spacious apartment in the heart of Ljubljana, and a stunning beachfront house in Pula.

We have a private suite for our au pair in each of our homes, ensuring they have ample space to relax and unwind.

Our region of Slovenia and Croatia (Istria) is truly a hidden gem of Europe, and we are excited to share it with our new au pair.

Slovenia boasts breathtaking landscapes, including pristine lakes, soaring mountains, and verdant forests. Adventure seekers and nature lovers will feel right at home in this beautiful country. The capital city of Ljubljana is a green oasis, surrounded by parks and areas of protected nature, and is home to thousands of events throughout the year. And of course, the stunning and world-famous Lake Bled is a must-see destination, with its mild, healing climate and thermal springs.

In Croatia's Istria region, visitors will find the largest green oasis of the North Adriatic, with picturesque pine woods and vibrant green macchia. The region is home to stunning coastal areas and indented coastlines, and the ancient city of Pula has been a vibrant center of activity for over three thousand years. With beautiful beaches stretching nearly one hundred miles, there is always a new adventure waiting to be discovered.

We truly believe that our region is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Europe, and we can't wait to share its wonders with our new au pair.

We lead an active lifestyle and love spending our free time outdoors, biking, hiking, boating, and swimming. We are always up for an adventure and enjoy exploring all the natural wonders our region has to offer. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family, and hosting barbecues and other gatherings.

When we're looking to relax, we enjoy watching shows and movies on streaming platforms like Netflix, Apple+, and HBO. Our au pair will be welcome to join us in any of these activities, or pursue their own interests during their free time.
